This campground was a very pleasant surprise. The sites were long enough for our 45 footer and a tow car. Connections were all excellent. Space was wide enough for our four slides plus a nice sitting area. Beautiful flowers, shrubs and trees separate each site for privacy and beauty. Hummingbirds and butterflies were on the flowers. The access to the dunes is right there so you can walk up anytime. The off road vehicles that were using the dunes do not disturb the campers at all. You can hear vehicles on the dunes during the day, but it is not unpleasant or annoying. The management was some of the best we have encountered. The office staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Woahink Lake is extremely clear and beautiful and we were able to put our kayak in right off the campground's dock which is across the street. We spent only one week here, but could have spent all summer very happily. It was peaceful and quiet, and only a short drive into Florence which is also wonderful. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly to anyone...especially big rigs who need the space.

It is a very clean and neat campground. It is extremely well maintained. The sites are all paved and are very long for any size RV and tow vehicle. It is easy to get in and out. There are beautiful surroundings of forests and hills but no trees in the park. There is great Wi-fi access. Beautiful Devil's Lake is across the street but there is no access from the park. There is a small city park with dock and ramp right up the street. It is close to casino and plenty of restaurants. The utilities are top notch. I would give this park a higher rating except for the closeness of the sites. It would have made for a lot more pleasant stay if they had just added a few feet between rigs. Our neighbor's awning almost touches our coach. There is not much room for sitting outside of your coach. The end sites are very roomy with fire pits but good luck getting one of those. We stayed here for a week and would stay here again but not for such a long time. This is an excellent park for short stays or over night although some of the back-ins are roomier.

I'm sure you all know how sometimes in life the people you deal with are the most important factor in a transaction. Well Jeff and his family are beyond compare when it comes to perfect hosts. I wish we could have stayed at Camp Blanco all summer just to be with them and the other nice people we met there. Loved our pull-through site. Had 30 amp but never needed the 50 amp we had requested. Great shade, clean, clean, clean...nice flowers...small and intimate. Port Orford Beach, just south of town, was gorgeous and long. Cape Blanco State Park was an all day visit. Battle Rock Harbor and the Coast Guard Museum were very interesting. Lots of good hiking at the museum. The harbor was fascinating with it's boat hoist system..only 6 like it in the world. Our 3 days were filled with things to do and some good food. Some of the sites are a little close together but others offer lots of privacy. Tell Jeff what you need and he will see what he can do. Great little boat restored with a bedroom for overflow guests. You are going to like it here unless you are looking for a pristine, paved and landscaped site out of a magazine. Loved the little welcome basket delivered by Jeff's children. These owners go above and beyond the call of duty to make your stay wonderful.

Stayed 7 nights on a weekly rate. Great view of the river from the windows of our rig...parked 3 feet from the edge and could watch the birds, otters, and deer from there. Oregon is experiencing a water shortage and campgrounds are not allowed to water their grass, therefore all of the campsite areas were brown...this prevented me from giving this one a 10. Great river access for boating, fishing or swimming. Long, paved, back-in site. The pull-throughs are not too close together so are very comfortable. Peaceful and quiet. Great fire ring at our site on the river. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful flowers everywhere and wild berries for picking. I'm glad we chose to stay here instead of the campgrounds near the harbor that we checked out. It was just a short, beautiful drive to town (1 and 1/2 miles). We had no problem driving our 45' motor home with tow vehicle on this road and the driveway down to the campground was very easy. A few of the "seasonal sites" were a little messy which was a distraction but we just sat next to the river and had a ball. Children would probably be bored here if they don't fish or have a boat.

What a transformation! This campground used to look like a parking lot and it has been completely re-done with double-wide sites and very long parking pads. Paved roads and pads with nice grass between sites. Easy access for the largest rigs and a great place to park and visit all of wine country for a few days. No recreation features, but most people aren't here for that. Clean, neat, great electric, water and sewer and a nice quiet location. Would return to this campground over and over again.

What a find! Totally new and still in the process of being finished and the greatest location. From the perspective of large motor home owners (40' to 45'), this park can accommodate the longest rigs and their tow cars. Paved parking pads and wide grassy areas between sites make these some of the largest sites we have found in California. Owner was extremely accommodating both over the phone and in person. Great place to park for several days while visiting the Humboldt Redwoods as well as the surrounding coastal area. Bikers will love the level roads and access to riding on the Avenue of Giants. I would give this campground a 10 if not for a few, unimportant points - water pressure was low and unfinished areas. If you are looking for recreation, you can definitely make your own..it is all around you at this fantastic park. The beauty of the flowers, trees and river made Ancient Redwoods feel like the Garden of Eden. Definitely recommend this park and would return in a heartbeat.

I agree with other reviewers that this is a great place to stay in the Eureka area. Location is convenient and park has been recompletely renovated so that it looks new. Sites are paved and very long and spacious. Utilities are top notch, but, yes, you do need a long sewer hose at some sites. Noise from 101 might bother some people but it was not unpleasant to us. Close to Redwoods and all area attractions as well as great restaurants. Owner and office manager are extremely accommodating. Big Rigs will love this place and everything is very neat and clean with a pretty view of the estuary and bridge. Would return here anytime.

The quality of this campground was a huge surprise. Sites were level cement and easily backed into with plenty of room for our tow vehicle. Flowers separating each site were gorgeous. The office staff was friendly, efficient and welcoming. Our point of view is slanted toward owners of 40 to 45 foot motor homes and this park was great. Everything was neat and clean and the location in Moss Landing was very convenient to touring Monterey and Carmel. We loved the ambiance of the barking seals in the marina right beside us and the closeness to the beach. We would normally not pay this much for a campground, but we were there during a holiday weekend so expected the price to be higher than usual. We would recommend this campground to anyone and would definitely return.

I'm giving this one a 5 for cleanliness, but cannot rate it any higher due to the following: It is definitely not for large rigs. Roads are very narrow and sites are literally side-by-side. Even the pull-throughs cannot be pulled into without lots of maneuvering if you have a large motor home or 5th wheel. Getting out of the spaces is almost impossible without asking someone to move another vehicle or driving across another site and backing several times. If you are driving a small RV or trailer, then this campground is definitely worth considering,. but I would say anything over 36 feet should beware. Our electric pole was leaning and the door was ripped off and we could look right into the rig next door. Site was uneven, slanted downhill but that was the least of our worries. The trees and flowers at this campground are gorgeous. Will not stay here again.

A new management company has bought this campground and are selling lots as well as renting them. If we were ready to settle down in one spot, we would definitely purchase here. The people are very friendly and welcoming. The staff was great. The new pool and spa are spotless and soothing. Lots of activities to choose from. The setting is beautiful as the campground is surrounded by the natural desert. Saguaro Cacti are everywhere, the sunsets are unobstructed and you can really commune with nature. The campsites are some of the widest we have ever seen..wonderful privacy with space to stretch out and full hook-ups. This park has spoiled us to those other parks where you park side-by-side with other RV's your awnings practically touch and you can look into their windows. We will definitely come back here for a very long stay.

We stayed here for a full week and felt as if we had discovered a great "secret" campground. The location was perfect for visiting Sedona, Cottonwood and Jerome. Cliff Castle Casino is just across highway. The facilities were spotless and modern. The sites were well landscaped and offered concrete parking pads as well as excellent privacy. This campground has been added to our "favorites"!

Under new ownership/management with a wonderful, young family. Very friendly and helpful! We spent 10 days here. Spotless amenities and sites. I would have given this campground a higher rating if the sites had not been so narrow. Neighboring coaches were just closer than we like them but the hook-ups were excellent. Restaurants are nearby and sightseeing opportunities are numerous. Wonderful place for studying ancient American Indian cultures. I would return to this campground at any time. We noticed that lots of rigs were merely overnighting, but they were missing a great area for exploring. Try to stay at least 3 nights.
